Moving scales on the beesky, softwax piled on itself in layers that lose their separation, until finally, to our human eye, they altogether stop looking like themselves, and take on a greater shape, flying left to right or right to left.     They flattened the sands, and built a room for me on stilts, so that I could be in the air when the shuttle returned.
