A rolled up carpet carrying the near-dead Jacob enters from underneath us. It bounces against something in the background, and starts to turn sideways. Jacob is facing up with his eyes closed, enjoying the view as it passes by in parallel beneath his eyelids.     All of which suddenly reminded me, that I was dead.
