Just when the little moon we want to visit seems to have gotten close enough to devour, we discover that we have passed through the picture plane, to emerge in an open space, perhaps UN territory, where there is a distant sun, and many small floating planets, half-lit in the rotating dark.     I discovered the Planet of Television four hours after my death.
