The tv rotates by itself in the dark, without reference to the background planet. It can hear the weather outside the dark, but prefers not to see it at this moment. This momentary dislocation is necessary for the tv to pass on to another of its many alternate personality-shapes... which one, we will learn in a moment.     It was the closest I would ever get to the eye of God.
