A travel tube runs diagonally from top to bottom of frame. It holds this position to serve as a direction indicator for the X-Shape, who is rushing forward from off-screen. Its candy cane stripes can also be interpreted as a warning barrier.     When the actual transmission began, the X-shape was there for me.
