Either in Jacob's  tête , or in the  tête  of that noise calling, is a softly floating point of view poised above the outskirts of  Alamogordo , looking down and beyond, to the  désert . Or, to identify what is in  devant  of that  yeux , the Army's  Deseret  Test facility. Desert was the name for the Land of the Honeybee in the political history of the Mormons, as well as the  langage  of the Jaredites, a now-vanished Lost Tribe of people who came from vicinity of Tower of Babel and, I think, arrived on this continent aboard a submarine vessel.
