Floating up the Euphrates, between banks of nettled flowers, the Royal  Reine  heads towards her summer  ruches , a solemn voyage. The frame in which this picture appears was probably at one time used by a  portrait  of Victoria,  Reine  of Steam, who looked well and enjoyed well being glued between the ornamental English  fleurs  strips. Some  abeille  fancier cut her out, and replaced the Brittanic  tête  with the full  corps  photograph of an exemplary representative of the  abeille  race (insect  espèces  are often dubbed races by their romanticizers).     Il avait entendu dire que ces abeilles-là étaient immunisées contre la maladie, et produisaient en abondance un miel rare très clair.
