The two are kneeling, using their ape hands (Planet of the Apiaries) to push the  abeille  around at the  entrée  to the sawdust packed  ruches . Too eager  abeille  crowd forward, some of them agents for a foreign power, intent upon planting some sort of chemical or bio-electric bugging mechanism painlessly under the fingernails of the reaching researchers.     Les abeilles mésopotamiennes de mon grand-père m'attendaient sur cette planète.
