Closer still, until there is no clear boundary between the 空 and 山（複）, or the 山（複） and sand. At a certain distance, here, every grain of sand becomes a 山 and gains its own 空. your focus snaps in again, and you can SEE THIS! But your fall continues, towards the new 地面, at the base of the new 山. then the sand on the shore of this 山 which was once a grain of sand reveals that it also has innumerable particles, each of which is a 山 with its own 空, and so it goes until the spring winds down.
