He's in the placeless place, under the 空, or on a studio set, standing in 前面の of a giant 青 backdrop... a 色 made to disappear, and so used by image technologists to yank subjects from the living 地球, and place them against any imaginary background, here to Mars to Rome to your intestines. Or just turn where you are into someplace else, exactly the same but totally different. |
