A whitebox surrounds a live Nipkow-dissected and reconstructed hand, turning on itself slowly in the constrained space. These images were transmitted as strange sounds over the radio, and reconstructed by a special set bought as extra attachment to the homeradio. There were several hundred station broadcasting images like this throughout the world in the late 1920's.
She combined her brother's techniques of ectoplasmic cinematography with her own knowledge of electrical telephone technique. She called her device the Electric Telescope.
