Sumer had printing presses, but the paper all rotted during the Flood, and we're left thinking that the negative blocks where what they circulated.     In my youth, I studied Volapuk, rival of Esperanto, the artificial language of international peace; and reconstructed the language of Cain, spoken at the Tower of Babel.
