A beveled platform carrying a satellite view of the earth slides in from the left. The box tilts and locks in place straight along our line of sight. Facet lines are visible on the surface of the earth-picture, and a slit opens in center as the entire surface approaches us, inviting us down for barbecue, probably preceded by a shave and a skinning. |
