At  centre  of the  écran , we see what  Jacob  will see when he sees through the  abeille  later, when a mirrored  cristal  is embedded in his skull, via passage down his ear, up his  nez , through his  yeux . This is the point of view of the  abeille  looking at themselves through  Jacob . This hexagonal shape is also the title page of Jacob's grandfather's old diary.
