There are more layers to this damaged onion. Yet another  vert  stink disappears, giving the impression that perhaps there are more layers than  espace  in this thing. Perhaps it is this potential infinity which gives it a look of such terrible damage. Hopefully, however, each embedded  sphère  is a closer approximation of what must be at the very  centre , and peeling away the pieces takes us closer the necessary end at its' middle.
