Under the thin flame of our gaze, we see the 表面 of the missing 惑星 dissolve away, strip-teasing to reveal a stripes on an inner 表面, perhaps a secret 形 of the Cain-language bands seen on the processing チューブ back at the exit from the Pulsating Place. Beneath this newly revealed 表面, we can see a bifocal 回転する object projecting some sort of vision on the 球 interior, following the path of the inner-earth's striped bands. As the entire exterior 表面 vanishes, the rotator pauses, then 傾斜 down to the next band-level, a moment of stop in the middle of smooth motion, reminding us of the Maltese 十字 at the 中心 of every motion picture 機械.
